Audiences will be able to see my real self and love for food for the first time: Tamannaah Bhatia on MasterChef Telugu hosting

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is excited to make her Telugu TV debut as a host with the first season of the reality TV series MasterChef Telugu very soon.

The actress shot for the series in an exotic setting built at Innovative Film City (IFC), Bengaluru. As a few teasers for the show make noise on social media, Tamannaah Bhatia and Prasad, the show’s producer and three judges interacted with the media today at IFC.

Speaking about her TV debut and the thought process behind it, Tamannaah said, “When I was first approached for this show, it was an instant yes for me because I’m a big foodie and anyone who follows my Insta account should know that. Also, I have plenty of time to explore my culinary skills during this lockdown and I thought people, who have always seen me onscreen in this or that character, will see my true self and love for food. I see this as a great opportunity to explore and showcase my true self and love for food and cooking. ”

She added, “The Telugu have given me so much love, glory and warmth, regardless of my roots. The world knows me as a Telugu girl and I feel more Telugite than anything else. big fan of Telugu cuisine especially Hyderabadi biryani, Chepala Pulusu (curried fish in tamarind sauce) and Avakai too. I recently tasted Pootharekulu (a popular paper thin dessert from Atreyapuram) and this is my Favorite cheat food lately. Well, this show aims to take our Telugu international cuisine with special emphasis on the passion and talent of our home cooks. ”

While Vijay Sethupathi, Kiccha Sudeepa and Prithviraj respectively host the Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions of the show, Tamannaah signed up for the Telugu show.

Explaining why an actress hosted the Telugu version, producer Prasad said, “We’ve always wanted to have a famous host because we have a hero / heroine driven market here. was very particular about having a heroine, especially Tamannaah as the host for the kind of value she can bring to the table. Even Venkatesh (actor) garu also supported this decision. first said that Tamannaah could not be contacted. Revered chiefs Sanjay Thumma, Chalapathi Rao and Mahesh Padala will judge the show.
