A native of New York, Scott Kampf has been a professional chef for over two decades and has had an illustrious career focused on Franco-American cuisine. His various honors along the way include the acclaimed Chaine des Rôtisseurs Award of Excellence and the Michelin-starred Chef’s Audience Award. Kampf also had a stint as a team challenger on the Food Network Iron Chef America and was subsequently invited to appear on Kitchen nightmares.

Much of Kampf’s career consisted of private chef work for stars and professional athletes. He developed his natural culinary abilities while living abroad and traveling to France, Italy and Spain to study international cuisine. This is where Kampf discovered local cuisine and developed his unique and personal style as well as a taste for fresh market foods.

After returning to the United States, he worked in different kitchens along the East Coast and eventually landed in the Hamptons where he currently resides. Kampf’s fresh take on various cuisines has already earned him a strong following in New York City. Kampf, who is widely regarded as one of the best chefs in the Hamptons, is an important ingredient in restaurateur Ian Duke’s recipe for success – serving as executive chef for Southampton Social Club, Union hamburger bar and Sushi & Steak Union. It is in these Hamptons hotspots that Kampf draws on more than 20 years of expertise to offer East End foodies an innovative menu made with the finest and freshest ingredients of the season.
