‘Barefoot Contessa’ star’s easy bacon recipe gets rave reviews

Garten’s recipe has received rave reviews on the Food Network site. “Another fantastic and tasty recipe from Ina!” one person commented. “I took these to a brunch and they were a total hit! I had to keep a few pieces in the oven for 50 minutes, so be prepared if you have thick slices that you may need to adjust the time for. That, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this recipe!”

Another commentator exclaimed: “To die for! Do not hesitate. Do that! This is such a crowd pleaser!! And… it’s easy!

“It was a total success!” another person shared. “I made this for a family lunch as an appetizer and not a single morsel left on the plate. I followed the instructions and it’s perfect. I would recommend making it a few hours longer early, so the bacon has time to be less “foldable”.

Some reviews mentioned that the bacon could stick to paper towels and people recommended cooling it on parchment paper instead.
